Rwanda earned $13.83 million from agricultural and livestock exports in just four days, between October 5 and 9, 2026, according to the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).

The exports generated more than 20 billion Rwandan francs, with a total of 9,412 tonnes of products shipped to international markets during the period.

Coffee was one of the biggest contributors to export earnings, bringing in $5.73 million from 660 tonnes. Tea exports generated $790,098 from 265 tonnes.

Other products also contributed to the earnings. Rwanda exported 460 tonnes of vegetables worth $594,215, while 483 tonnes of fruit brought in $604,174.

The country also earned $110,963 from 28 tonnes of flowers exported during the period.

Livestock products accounted for 7,275 tonnes of exports, generating $5.57 million in revenue.

Rwanda’s products reached markets in China, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, South Africa, India and several other African countries.

The figures show the important role agricultural and livestock products continue to play in Rwanda’s export trade, with coffee and livestock products generating the largest amounts of revenue among the categories reported.
